Kanaka Kava is a local, family-owned organic farm rooted in Hāma on Hawaiʻi Island, bringing traditional Hawaiian foods and farm-grown ʻawa from our ʻāina to our bar in Kailua, Kona.

Kanaka Kava was founded in 2001 by ‘Anakala Zach and is now carried forward by his ʻOhana, guided by a deep commitment to preserving and sharing Hawaiian culture. Through traditional foods and the sacred practice of ʻAwa, we create a space rooted in ʻIke, where stories are passed, connections are made, and the spirit of the Hawaiian Kingdom continues to live on.
